🎉JOIN EVer — Enjoy it Vernacular
🎤 Speak it. Write it. Keep it alive.
🌱 What is EVer?
EVer stands for Enjoy it Vernacular — a growing cultural platform and multilingual magazine committed to preserving, celebrating, and revitalizing Indigenous and endangered languages, beginning in Uganda and expanding across the world. EVer is rooted in the belief that language is a living heritage, and that creativity, storytelling, and expression in our mother tongues are essential for both cultural memory and future sustainability.
Through our magazine, online platform, and growing network of language workers, artists, and educators, EVer uplifts voices that are often overlooked — voices that speak from and to the heart of communities, in languages that matter.
🎓 What is EVer Club?
EVer Club is the student-powered branch of Enjoy it Vernacular, to be created for schools, universities, and youth institutions. It’s a vibrant, creative space where young people come together to explore, express, and celebrate their cultural and linguistic identities.
EVer Clubs are designed to foster language pride and inspire the next generation of storytellers, poets, artists, and cultural guardians. Whether you speak your language fluently or are just beginning to rediscover it — you belong here.
🌍 What We Do in EVer Clubs
EVer Clubs offer engaging and collaborative activities that combine culture, creativity, and community:
✔️ Organize poetry and storytelling circles in local languages
✔️ Create art, music, memes, and podcasts that reflect cultural themes
✔️ Publish student work in the Enjoy it Vernacular magazine
✔️ Invite elders, artists, and language champions for workshops and dialogues
✔️ Run oral history and language documentation projects
✔️ Celebrate culture through events, exhibitions, and language days
We aim to make every meeting a step toward reviving the voices we risk losing.
🎯 Who Can Join?
EVer Club is open to all students—whether in secondary school, university, or any educational institution—who care about culture, creativity, and language.
You don’t need to be fluent in your mother tongue. All you need is curiosity and commitment.
