Why EVer Is Here for the "Forgotten" — and How Indigenous Languages Can Solve Global Challenges
In a world where being “global” often means speaking one dominant language, dressing a certain way, or coming from a “developed” background, countless communities are unfairly labeled: indigenous, backward, illiterate, local, forgotten.
But what if these communities are exactly where the world should be looking for answers?
🌱 Why EVer Exists
Enjoy it Vernacular (EVer) was born to uplift the voices long ignored by global systems.
We work with indigenous and endangered languages — not just to preserve them, but to activate them as tools for awareness, education, and healing. These languages carry deep-rooted knowledge about land, health, identity, and resilience.
At EVer, we believe that global problems cannot be solved by global voices alone.
We need to:
Talk climate justice in the language of farmers and forest dwellers.
Discuss mental health in the idioms people already trust.
Fight poverty and inequality through the worldview of those who’ve lived its every contour.
Because without grassroots voices, solutions remain surface-level.
📣 Our Mission Is Action
We don’t just talk about language.
We publish, translate, educate, and create space for unheard voices.
🗣 We publish real stories from real people in their native tongues.
🌍 We address climate change, mental health, and social justice in local contexts.
📚 We support language editors and cultural champions across Africa and beyond.
🎙 We’re building a movement — with vernacular as our microphone.
Our slogan says it best:
Raise the Word, Heal the World.
🤝 You’re Invited
Are you passionate about language, equity, culture, or social transformation?
Join the EVer journey.
We’re looking for contributors, language editors, volunteers, and readers who believe that true change speaks every language.
